Privacy Policy

SizeMyRing ("the app") is created and operated by EmeraldApps ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information. In short: SizeMyRing works entirely on your device, has no account, and does not track you.
Data We Collect
SizeMyRing does not collect personal information and does not require an account.
- Measurements and saved sizes — Ring sizes, the people you save, and your notes are stored only on your iPhone (and in your own iCloud backup if you have iCloud Backup enabled). We cannot see this data.
- Camera — If you use a camera-based measuring method, the camera is used solely to measure a ring or finger against a reference card. Photos are processed on your device, are never uploaded to us or anyone else, and are not saved to your photo library unless you explicitly choose to save them.
- No analytics or tracking — The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or attribution software. It does not ask for permission to track you across other apps or websites.
How Your Data Is Used
Because your measurements and content stay on your device, they are used only to provide the app's features to you — showing sizes, converting between standards, saving sizes for people, and generating the cards you choose to share.
Purchases
SizeMyRing Premium is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system using StoreKit. Apple processes all payments and manages subscriptions — we never receive or store your credit card details. Apple provides us only with aggregated, non-identifying purchase information (for example, how many subscriptions are active). Please review Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles payment data.
Sharing Features
When you choose to share a size — for example, sending a jeweler-ready card or exporting a PDF — that content is shared only through the destination you select (Messages, Mail, a saved file, and so on). We are not involved in that transfer and do not receive a copy.
Diagnostics
If you have opted in to sharing analytics with app developers in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, Apple may provide us with anonymized, aggregated crash and performance reports. These reports do not identify you and are used only to fix bugs and improve stability. You can turn this off at any time in iOS Settings.
Children's Privacy
SizeMyRing is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your measurements and saved people remain on your device until you delete them within the app or remove the app. Deleting the app removes its on-device data. Because we never receive this data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the app or legal requirements. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date above.
