These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the SizeMyRing app ("the app"), created and operated by EmeraldApps ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
The app is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). Where these Terms and the Standard EULA overlap, the stricter provision applies.
License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service and the Standard EULA.
Sizing Accuracy
SizeMyRing provides estimates to help you find a ring size. Results depend on correct screen calibration, careful measurement, and the physical items you use. While we work hard to make the app accurate, measurements can vary between fingers, temperature, time of day, and band width.
Always confirm a size with a jeweler before purchasing or resizing a ring, especially for engagement or wedding rings. We are not responsible for rings that are ordered, purchased, or resized based on the app's estimates.
Subscriptions and Purchases
SizeMyRing offers optional Premium plans through Apple's In-App Purchase system, which may include a weekly plan with a free trial, an annual plan, and a one-time lifetime purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings after purchase.
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
All payments are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms. Refunds are managed by Apple, not by us.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the app, including attempting to reverse engineer it (except as permitted by law), interfering with its operation, or using it in violation of applicable laws.
Intellectual Property
The app, including its design, text, and graphics, is owned by EmeraldApps and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EmeraldApps will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any costs arising from rings ordered, purchased, or resized based on the app's estimates.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
